Erbaut wurde der Fernsehturm 1954-55. Mit 217 Meter Höhe ist er der erste der Welt. Oben gibt es zwei Aussichtsplattformen,von wo man eine gute Fernsicht hat.Ausserdem gibt es oben noch ein Cafe. Der GCP ist am Parkplatz an einem Lichtmast.
